KILLROY WAS HERE

Kevin Smith

Killroy Was Here is an original movie written and directed by Kevin Smith. The project originated as an experimental web series pilot in collaboration with Ringling College of Art and Design. During the course of filming, it became clear that the premise would work better as a feature film. Semkhor acted as executive producer and developed the marketing strategy. The film is currently almost done with POST production and will be taken to market in May.

"ACTING THE FIRST SIX LESSONS"

Beau & Emily Bridges

Acting The First Six Lessons is a film based on a Play written by Beau and Emily Bridges which is based on book of the same name by Richard Boleslavsky. Semkhor worked with the Bridges to develop the play into unique documentary feature film hybrid. It is currently in POST and will be taken to market in June.

The Real Stephen Blatt is an original web series written and directed by Justin and Christian Long and executive produced by Semkhor. The series was picked up by FUNNY or DIE and has been viewed by millions of people.

MAKING MEDIA THAT MATTERS


Making Media That Matters is part of of Semkhor's e-learning project SEMKHOR CONTENT ACADEMY which runs on its software Semkhor Learning Systems. MMTM is a course developed and taught by Steve Michelson that focuses on how to successfully develop and produce a cause based documentary.

SEMKHOR Ringling Sound Stage &
Post Facility & Film Department


Semkhor was engaged by Ringling College of Art & Design to help develop a nationally recognized film program which had 7 students and no visibility. Semkhor developed a strategy that centered on integrating celebrity centric productions into their academic program. The approach developed and managed by Semkhor achieved the following results:

  • 16th ranking nationally of the film program
  • Over 130 film students
  • Coordinated a City, County, and Community collaboration to support local productions
  • Developed an internship program that placed students on film productions nationally and raised visibility of the film program
  • Secured the largest single economic development grant in Sarasota history (1.75 mm) to support the development of a Post Production facility
  • Executive produced multiple celebrity based productions that provided the Ringling film students with unique, direct experience and helped prepare them for work after graduation
  • Invested with the County and Ringling College to develop and construct a 38,000 sq. ft. Sound Stage and Post Production facility

SEMKHOR delivered to VFX centered web based commercials for Walgreens. Fast Festive Machine is completely computer generated and is built to be endlessly adaptable for new projects.

Synopsis
Kat Oden, a rising star in punk rock, has lost herself on the way to finding the fame she once sought. Instead, she stashes herself away in a drug-addled stupor at Rockstar boyfriend Nick Boon's massive LA mansion. STONEBREAKER DOCUMENTARY

Scott Stonebreaker Ross, harpsichord performer

This project will be developed in coordination with both Hillsborough Community College and Amarillo College and will allow young filmmakers to directly participate in post production and visual effects. The Content Academy is dedicated to facilitate worthwhile educational engagements through participation in top-tier commercial projects.

The documentary will be narrated but Andy Garcia.

AMARILLO VFX

COLLABORATION


Semkhor and Amarillo College are collaborating on the creation of a cutting-edge Visual Effects Program that will focus on a comprehensive understanding of the art and supervision of VFX. The curriculum will have both an accredited and continuing education compoent.

Central to this project is the building of a 10,000 VFX Studio Sound Stage that will provide the premier location to create and experiment with the ever improving and expanding VFX technology. Semkhor is providing the curriculum development and management as well as managing the commercial aspect of the VFX Studio.
